Two more Scrapbook Pages

Here are two more pages. I did a few more but I haven't taken pictures of them yet. My scrapbook style is pretty simple.....especially when I am working on quite a few pictures for one scrapbook. These pages are for my scrapbook of all my dogs.

Some of the girls got together this Saturday and had a day of scrapbooking. Here are a couple of my pages.

My First Card

Here is my first card. It's pretty basic. I am not feeling too inspired right now, but I made this for my niece who is turning 9 on March 5th and she is having a "Luau" themed birthday party. Her favorite color is red too!!

Altered Binder Clip

Just a quick binder clip with some leftover paper from the nugget box......

Link to nugget boxes

As promised, here is the link to the nugget box templates. I'm sure most of you already have it, but just in case...I want to make sure credit is given!

My first project - Nugget box

Okay so I finally finished my project. I didn't like the first one I did. It was too much of one color and kind of plain. I was even too embarassed to post it! Anyways, it was inspired by my sister (we call each other Queen). It doesn't come close to anything out there, and if you've been around at least a couple of days you know there is some gorgeous stuff out there. I downloaded the template from Chris at Splitcoaststampers. After this post I will figure out how to add a link. Anyways....here they are:

A little frustrated, but.....

Well, yesterday I attempted to make a nugget box using my new Scor It tool. After doing some research, I felt the Scor It was the one I would like best, so I purchased one. I had some issues with measurements, as even though it is 12 inches square, the scoring line is down the middle, so it only shows 6 inches on each side. This may not be an issue for some, but for my math-challenged brain, it was. I took a ruler with the paper and was able to put it together, but I was frustrated. I did assemble the box, but my creativity flew "out the window" and I didn't complete it. After thinking about it, and sleeping on it, I think I know how I'm going to finish the project. I will post pics later when it is completed.

The jury is still out on the Scor it. It does make a good score, though. I think the problem is that I want one tool that will do everything, but as most of us with a dozen or more tools know, that is wishful thinking!

Welcome!!

Welcome to our little blog spot!!

We are two sisters who have been scrapbooking for about 10 years but have truly been trying to perfect our scrapping and crafting for the last two years. With a wonderful purchase of the Cricut a year ago, we are really beginning to have fun.

We would like to share our ideas for various crafts and our ideas for scrapbooking pages. We also hope to learn more from everyone that shares the love of scrapbooking and crafts as we do. We hope that if you see something you like, you will leave a comment. If you see something that you have a better idea for, please post your comment with your ideas. Sharing is caring!! hehehe

Happy Crafting!!!
